What happens if the courier is unable to deliver or if I am not home?Updated 9 months ago

DHL usually only makes one delivery attempt and takes the parcel to a branch if the recipient or a neighbour cannot be found. The parcel can be collected the next day at the earliest with the parcel notification card and an identity card.

If the parcel is delivered to a branch or parcel shop, the storage period is only 7 working days.

 

Depending on your location and local courier service, the courier will pass by up to three times at your delivery address or the package will be delivered to the nearest post office/collection point. If your package is delivered to a post office or collection point, it will be available for pick-up for up to 2 weeks depending on your location and local courier service.
 
 If your package is not collected or delivered within the storage period, it will be returned to us.

A refund will be issued as soon as the order is returned to our logistics centre and registered. Please order again as our logistics partner does not make a 2nd delivery. 

Please note, if your parcel has been returned to us for any reason, e.g. giving a wrong address, not collecting the parcel, not paying customs duties, etc., GOBI will refund the value of the goods once the goods have arrived back at our warehouse. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
