Our thousands of years of nomadic heritage and beautiful co-existing way of life gives us the most humane and ethical method to harvest cashmere. After surviving the harsh Mongolian winter, a new season starts and with it a need to shed any excessive winter insulation. This is true for all native fur animals, but especially so for our renowned cashmere goats.
Nomads with years of expertise manually comb it out carefully, for it to regrow the next year. In that sense, it is an invaluable renewable resource for Mongolia. Through each garment, we aim to promote and preserve our unique nomadic heritage, while maintaining native grasslands and increasing the quality of life of herders.
